About Forrest Frazier

After attending Northeastern University in Boston for business Forrest was sitting in a cube selling mutual funds at a thankless job. The phone rang and a high school friend on the other end asked if he wanted to go to Miami.  The next day his car was packed and he was on the road to the sunshine state.  A month later he was enrolled at the Art Institute  of Fort Lauderdale studying photography.  Forrest took classes at a variety of South Florida schools, FAU, Nova, UM and two years later had another degree.

Upon graduating Forrest worked with many prominent fashion photographers in South Florida.  He took that sense of high fashion and emerged a major player in the Fetish Photography scene. He was a regular contributor to high-end magazines and books in the erotic art genre.

In the mid 1990′s he made his way back to Boston, where his blossoming style of eroticism caught the eye of Art Directors outside his normal circles. Next thing he knew mainstream advertising and editorial assignments were coming his way. After a particularly grueling month long location assignment Forrest decided to take some time off. He packed up his motorcycle and hit the road for a month photographing bikers and the biker lifestyle.

The images from his first cross county trip were entered into some exhibitions and his work began to get published in biker magazines.  His unique photographic style and mastery of lighting techniques makes “raw chrome and steel look soft and sexy”.

Despite a horrific motorcycle crash in 2003 which left Forrest in the hospital for a month, he has continued in the pursuit of photographing bikes and bikers. Now with some titanium rods, plates & screws and minus a spleen, Forrest still packs in a full riding and shooting schedule each year.

When not in the studio or working for an advertising agency in Boston, Forrest can usually be found on his Harley-Davidson Road King capturing the biker lifestyle.  His images document the unique experience of life as an American Biker.
